Our policy
NexPort Components is committed to the responsible sourcing of minerals used in our products. Our due diligence framework follows the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, and covers tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (3TG) as well as cobalt and mica.
- We require direct suppliers to identify the smelters and refiners in their supply chain and to source from facilities validated as conformant under the Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP).
- We survey our supply chain annually using the Responsible Minerals Initiative Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT).
- Where a non-conformant or unidentified source is found, we engage the supplier on a corrective-action plan and, if unresolved, remove the source from our qualified list.
